a native of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Master of Arts in Opera Singing from the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Graz Austria, in class of Annemarie Zeller, KS Joanna Borowska and Helga Müller Molinari. Nataša is a singer, actress and also studied musicology, in Sarajevo and later on in Graz. She has been living in Austria since 1994, where she became well known as the magic voice of the “Sandy Lopicic Orkestar”. Together with Austrian hurdy-gurdy-player Matthias Loibner, Nataša released the CD “Ajvar & Sterz” in April 2005 with music from Austria and from the Balkans. They were awarded the prestigious Austrian World-Music Award in 2005 for this work. Most recent projects are: “Der Knabe und Schmetterling””- children songs and tales from the Balkans, “Ašik and The Wedding Story”- Balkan wedding customs and music, “Mountain Wind”- Music tradition of the Balkan Highlands, assisted by her “dream team” of well known vocalists and instrumentalists from Austria, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey, W. Müller-F. Schubert “Winterreise” with Matthias Loibner, and with the Band NOVI ZAČIN “Bosnian Flavors”–Songs from Bosnia. Besides her musical projects on stage Nataša is successfully teaching her very own “Universal Voice Leading” singing method in workshops all over Europe.
